Pietersen
ITALY
Brescia made a deal with Judith Pietersen who came from Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena. For the Dutch player this will be the fourth consecutive season in the strongest Italian league considering that she came in the 2015/2016 season to Savino Del Bene, then, in the next season moved to Novara and after a short break in January 2018 she returned to the court and played for Modena. In her career, Judith also played for the Netherlands with whom she won the silver at the European Championships 2015 and the bronze at the World Grand Prix 2016.
POLAND
Katarzyna Zabinska has extended the contract with Developres Skyles Rzeszów. Thus, the club closed the squad for the season 2018/2019. Polish middle blocker has been connected with the club since the 2012/13 season and only in the last season she had the opportunity to develop wings.
GERMANY
Very perspective German opposite, the 17-year-old Emilia Weske renewed the contract with SC Potsdam. Last season she was debuted in the Bundesliga and considering that she is very talented the club decided to keep her. Coach Davide Carli said:
“Emilia Weske is one of Potsdam’s greatest talents. We are happy that she stays. She’s the youngest player in the squad and so we have an extra eye on her.“
