After seven months, the 2019/20 Super League resumed yesterday with Round 2 (although the results of Round 1 before the pandemic won’t be taken into consideration). The competition will be held on an accelerated schedule – practically, matches will be played every day.
Today, in Round 3, three teams noted straight-set victories. Led by Zhang Binglong (18 points), Beijing redeemed for a surprising loss in the previous round and beat Guangdong by a 25-23, 25-19, 25-18. Fujian and Shanghai were successful today, too. Shandong and Bayi didn’t play their match as the latter withdrew from the competition.
