The former Puerto Rico Men’s National Team setter Fernando Morales has been appointed as the head coach of the country’s women’s national team.
A 38-year-old Morales, retired as a player only a year ago, is currently at the helm of the women’s volleyball team at the University of Evansville, the Purple Aces, which competes in Division I of the NCAA. He already has experience in the Puerto Rico Women’s National team, being an assistant to a former head coach José Mieles.
As it was published on the website of the Puerto Rican federation (FPV), Oswald Antonetti will remain at the helm of the men’s national team.
