The Peruvian women’s volleyball club Deportivo Jaamsa signed the Cuba National Team member Claudia Hernández for the 2020/21 season.

Deportivo Jaamsa invested the most in strengthening their roster compared to other clubs of the 2020/21 Peruvian Women’s Liga Nacional Superior de Vóley, a few days before the start of the competition, looking to add one more title to the one recently obtained in the national cup.

As the last activity in the transfer market, they engaged the Cuba National Team outside hitter Claudia Hernández. A 23-year-old player spent the last season in Jaamsa’s fiercest rivals at the moment, Allianza Lima. In addition, Jaamsa renewed the contract with Hernández’s compatriot Regla Gracia and hired the country’s national team player Leslie Leyva from Universidad de San Martín de Porres.
