Gian Luca Pasini reported in his blog that Russia’s Dinamo Moscow, the winners of the national Cup a few days ago, have made an offer to, according to many, the best male volleyball player in the world at the moment – Wilfredo León.
The team from the Russian capital wants to regain the epithet of a center of the national volleyball, which it held until the 1980s and 1990s. Dinamo allegedly made an offer to a two-time CEV Champions League MVP for the next season, and he’s projected to replace Belgian Sam Deroo (his contract expires).
Given that Russian clubs are currently among the richest on the international scene, such a transfer is quite possible, even though León earns a lot in Italy’s Sir Safety Conad Perugia for which he has been competing since 2018.
