Isac was ready to have a memorable year as he was to compete in the 2022 FIVB World Championship with the Brazil National Team and then land in Italy to wear the jersey of the SuperLega titleholders, Cucine Lube Civitanova. The back injury, however, took the middle blocker off the court.
Now recovered, the Best Middle Blocker of the 2013 Pan American Cup and the 2015 South American Championship, has already defined the first foreign club whose colors he’ll defend. As we said, it should’ve been Lube, but they renounced his services after learning that his injury requires several months of inactivity and dropped out of registering him for 2022–203. The 32-year-old Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei legend was announced as a reinforcement for Jakarta STIN BIN, which disputes in the Proliga of Indonesia. Interestingly, they were founded just a few months back.
STIN BIN engaged another name that will sound familiar even to an average volleyball aficionado for this season. It’s Bulgaria National Team member, Rozalin Penchev, who started 2022-23 on the UAE’s side, Al-Wasl VC.
