HAOK Mladost Zagreb barely took time to celebrate their first trophy of the season before dominating Kelteks Karlovac in the 20th round of the Superliga. The match, which lasted just 68 minutes, ended in a swift 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-17) victory for Mladost. The dominance of the Mladost excelled in all aspects of the game, scoring 43 points in attacks, 9 points from blocks, and 6 aces, despite committing 21 errors to Kelteks’ 17. Leonarda Grabić and Aurora Papac led the scoring with 13 points each.

In another match, Brda Split shown considerable improvement in the latter half of the season, aiming to escape the relegation zone. They secured a 3-0 victory against Osijek away (25-16, 28-26, 25-18), moving up to the 10th position. The most thrilling set was the second, where Brda ultimately won 28-26 after several lead changes.

The encounter in Zaprešić also ended swiftly as Nebo defeated Split 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-20), with the match lasting 78 minutes. Split, struggling this season, showed potential in the early stages of the second and third sets but couldn’t sustain their performance.

Meanwhile, Rijeka CO faced a tough home loss after 124 minutes against Ribola Kaštela, ending in a 2-3 defeat (30-28, 18-25, 12-25, 25-23, 8-15). Despite leading in the first and fourth sets, Rijeka couldn’t maintain their momentum, ultimately losing the decisive fifth set.

Another five-set thriller saw Marina Kaštela overcoming Dinamo 3-2 (17-25, 21-25, 25-20, 25-18, 15-12) after 133 minutes. Dinamo, fresh from their Cup final, started strong but faltered as the match progressed, allowing Marina to clinch the victory and maintain their 3rd position in the standings, while Dinamo sits in second place with 36 points.

Don Bosco secured a significant win against Enna Vukovar 3-1 (21-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-20) after 116 minutes. The match saw both teams winning a set convincingly before Don Bosco took control, winning the closely contested third set and securing the match. This victory propelled them to the 9th position, leaving Vukovar in the penultimate spot, both teams tied at 12 points.
