FC Porto were crowned Portuguese women’s volleyball champions after defeating SC Braga 3-0 to secure a 3-1 victory in the final series.

The Porto side regained the title after Benfica ended their run last season, returning to the top of Portuguese volleyball following four consecutive championships between 2020 and 2024.

Kelsey Veltman and Mika Grbavica led the scoring with 13 points each, while Natalia Murek contributed 12 points in a dominant attacking display from the visitors. FC Porto finished the match with 95 attack points, eight aces and eight blocks.

The win also sealed a domestic double for Miguel Coelho’s team after lifting the Portuguese Cup earlier in the season.
