Stod has qualified for quarter-finals in the gold set because Azerrail won rematch 3-0 as Stod had done at home. So, after 3-0 for the hosts, teams have played golden set which belonged to the Norwegian team 18-16.
The Cuban receiver Acea Cabrera was the top scorer in the winning team with 13 point followed by Brazilian receiver Benicio Peixoto 12.
In the losing team Aksana Kavalchuk scored 20 points.
