Japan team went ahead at the first technical time out with powerful services and good reception. Then they continued their rhythm of work and by good team combination to lead at the second TTO 16-9, and soon took the set 25-22.

Japan met little challenges from Korea while they showed more motivation to win second set 25-18. Though Korea players tried hard to fight back, Japanese players were stubborn and showed a good performance in every action and it was Japan team who won the match at last.
