Brazilian outside hitter Samara Almeida joined Radomka.
A 28-year-old player already had the opportunity to play in the Polish TAURON Liga this season – in the jersey of Grupa Azoty Chemik Police. A month ago, Samara signed the contract with this club but failed medical tests. She had the idea to return to Italy, where she spent the last season (Zanetti Bergamo), but the Radom team persuaded her to stay in Poland.
During her professional career, she won the Brazilian Championship in 2012, the Romanian Championship in 2017, and the French Championship in 2019. In addition, Samara won the Swiss Cup and Super Cup, and the Romanian Cup.
