In a thrilling set of semifinal matches in Poland’s PlusLiga, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie and Jastrzębski Węgiel each took significant steps towards the final.

Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie defeated Projekt Warszawa 3-0 in the first semifinal match. The scoring was led by Mateusz Bieniek with 18 points, supported by Bartosz Kwolek and Karol Butryn who added 11 and 10 points respectively. Despite efforts from Bartłomiej Bołądź, Kevin Tillie, and Artur Szalpuk, each scoring 12 points for Warszawa, it was not enough to secure a win.

In another semifinal match, defending champions Jastrzębski Węgiel edged closer to another final appearance after a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Asseco Resovia Rzeszów. Jean Patry, who was named MVP of the match, scored a remarkable 29 points, leading his team. Tomasz Fornal and Rafał Szymura also made significant contributions with 19 and 14 points, respectively. Torey Defalco was a standout for Resovia, scoring 22 points, but his efforts were ultimately insufficient to secure a win for his team.
