Polish national team, reigning world champions received national honors from the hands of the President of Poland Bronisław Komorowski. French coaches Stephane Antiga and Philippe Blain and members of the medical staff training were also honored.

Gold medalists from the World Championship 40 years ago also attended the ceremony.
On behalf of the „golden team“ spoke the captain Michał Winiarski, who noted that the presence of President Komorowski in two matches, „evidently brought them happiness.“
