Chemik Police
For the second year in a row and for the fourth time in history Chemik Police has won the championship title in Poland! In the Game 4 of the final series, Chemik outplayed Atom Trefl Sopot on the road after a true thriller.
Everything was tied at one moment. It was 2-2 in sets and 10:10 in the tie-break… But then the away team scored 4 consecutive points and escaped to 14:10! It was Malgorzata Glinka-Mogentale who finished the match with a strong spike!
But, perhaps a true heroine of the winning side was Stefana Veljković who played this game with serious burns on her stomach… She insisted to help her team, and eventually she scored some of the crucial points in this match.
