Poland defeated Belarus in the Playoffs stage, but only after a true drama and five long sets. The white and reds have therefore qualified for the quarterfinals where they will face The Netherlands, one of the co-hosts of the tournament.
Katarzyna Skowronska-Dolata stated that she will have a special motivation for the quarterfinals…
“We started the match against Belarus incredibly strong. But after that, we lost concentration and almost destroyed our chances. I hope that my team learns from this experience. I’m looking forward to the match against The Netherlands tomorrow. We want to enjoy this tournament as much as possible, and besides that I like to take revenge for the loss on Sunday,” said Skowronska-Dolata.
