Who will win the PLusLiga? The better question is who will advance to the finals? Recall that in this season, there will be no classic Playoffs. Instead, the two best placed teams from the regular season will qualify directly to the big finals! At the moment it is simply impossible to predict how will standings look like at the end… Still, Stephane Antiga, head coach of Poland, thinks he knows the answer…

“Skra will win the PlusLiga” said Antiga in the interview for sportowefakty.pl. Frenchman played for Skra for years, so his answer was well expected, but he added that he can’t have favorites among clubs:

“I am neutral. By becoming head coach of Poland I quickly learned that I have to be fair and objective. The recovery of Michal Winiarski is a major boost for Skra. Together with Conte and Marechal, Skra have extremely strong trio at the position of outside hitter. Of course, there is also Mariusz Wlazly who will be better and better throughout the season, while they also have strong middle blockers and two great liberos… Anyway, the biggest advantage of Skra is that they have hardly made any changes in the team during the summer. That is why I think they have the biggest chances to win the title” concluded Antiga.

Do you agree with Stephane Antiga?
