Michal Kubiak will probably leave Halkbank this summer. But where will he continue his career?

Sportowefakty.wp.pl writes that Kubiak has plenty of offers on his table. Some of them are from Italy, Iran, Japan, while there is also an enquiry coming from some top Polish teams such as PGE Skra Belchatow and Asseco Resovia.

“I spoke with some Polish clubs, but the conversation ended up quickly. I am sorry because the Polish players are not treated as they should be in our home country. The clubs prefer to sign foreigners and pay them more money. I am talking about this issue openly. I do not know how it will be received in the public, but I know I am telling the truth,” said Kubiak.

The player himself stated that he has not decided yet where he will continue his volleyball career.

“I have come to that point of my career when I have the privilege of choosing my employer. I have worked for this during my entire lifetime. I can choose big money or some high level competition… It depends only on me. I will make a decision that will be the best for me and my family.”

@. Nope. He wants too much money even for Asseco Resovia it’s to much. So stop complaining if you don’t know the truth.

@Dave ‘even for Asseco’? Asseco never gives anyone big money, so this word ‘even’ is quite stupid. He didn’t talk only about himself, but about tendency in Poland and he has right. Clubs contract many of foreigners on medium level and next keep them on the court, even when they play weakly, because they don’t want to waste money which they invested in this foreigners. Useless politics very often uses in Poland.

So, maybe good money and good level competition = Lube ? 🙂 Everyone expected that he will go to Italy. Uneless one of the polish club would decided to pay a good price, but for this was only a little chance. They don’t get used to do it.

@mon Lube doesn’t have money to spend anymore. And Juantorena, Kubiak and Sokolov would cost too much money. Kubiak will choose money and good life for his family, good competition is secondary. He can’t get all of that…

@Ale Hmm.. Since Lube is interested in both of this players: Sokolov and Kubiak and trying to sign them up, it shows that they should have enough money. What for Lube would started advanced conversation with both of them at the same time, if they didn’t have money for them? We will see. Such team would be awesome.

@mon If Lube didn’t have enough money he can go to Perugia. They also want him. Same league and also well paid.

@mon If you didn’t know, this is called NEGOTIATAION! If a club starts to speek with player, doesn’t necessary mean they will just pay the requested price to the player! And also could happen that nothing will happen
