“It will be a fantastic event“ the head of training department of the Polish Volleyball Federation Vladimir Sadalski said. “Zenit match will be a replay of this year’s Champions League final. The Russian club won 3-2 then. We had a great thrill. It should also be a great game now.”
The following teams will play in Group A – Trentino, Tiger N. Leon, Al-Rayyan, and the best club of South America, whose name will be announced on September 9th.
Tournament will be played in Doha, Qatar from 13 to 19 October. PGE Skra competed in it twice, winning the silver medal after losing the final matches in 2009 and 2010. Prior to them Jastrzebski Wegiel was also second.
