The head coach of the Polish national team Stephane Antiga was very satisfied with the reaction of his players in a game against Cuba.

I am happy that we played seriously in this match. Maybe it was not as important as the other matches we played. Also, it was not as difficult as the other matches, but I still wanted my players to play 100 per cent. I think all the players played well, so it’s a good preparation for the quarterfinals. There will be tougher matches ahead but we will see who will be playing next, and we will be ready” says Antiga.

Our boys went out to play hard as in every other match. Poland was better than us in every aspect of the game as the stats show. Our team is a work in progress and we need to continue working on certain parts of our game like the reception, and other aspects where we are experiencing difficulties” says Nicolas Vives, coach of Cuba.
