For many years Pilarz was a member of Zaksa KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE and in the last two seasons he played for BBTS Bielsko-Biała.
“I am a positive person so I’m not afraid of the next stage of my life. Sport taught me a lot, however, I am open to new challenges” said well-known player in PlusLiga.
Before the start of the new season he has planned to play two more years. What happened?
“That is very difficult question. After so many years spent on the floors it was difficult to make such a decision. But I chose the family. I didn’t want to play in some club who will fight for 13-16 places because I did not imagine such a end of my sporting career. To fight in the top five clubs was impossible because their doors are closed so I decided to end it. I didn’t want to leave the country because the offers from abroad were not attractive as before. I began my adventure in Bielsko Biala so here I was finished” said experienced setter.
