Mauro Berruto is one of the 4 candidates who remained in the race for the job of Poland men’s national team head coach. In the interview for sportowefakty.wp.pl, the Italian expert stated that he has already prepared a detailed plan which he is about to present to the Polish Volleyball Federation.
“Poland men’s team are the defending world champions, the current No. 2 in the world’s ranking, they have dozens of talented players and volleyball is a religion in this country. Every coach would like to work in Poland,” said Berruto.
When asked why the Polish Volleyball Federation should choose him of all candidates, Berruto answered:
“I will answer diplomatically. I am sure that the Polish Volleyball Federation will choose the best candidate out of four of us. Polish volleyball community just deserve it.”
