Skra made the way of Bielsko-Biała toward retaining Plus Liga status for the next season pretty hard by scoring a four-set win, partially 23-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-18, against them.
Bartosz Bednorz scored 23 points for Skra, including 3 aces and 4 kill blocks. The Russian Vyacheslav Tarasov topped the losing side with 19 points, while Wojciech Siek made 5 kill blocks.
Skra secured No.2 for the playoffs earlier while Bielsko-Biała remained the second-to-last in the standings (the last two teams will be relegated). In order to avoid relegation, they need to beat Aluron Virtu Warta Zawiercie in the last round and hope their rivals for Plus Liga survival, Łuczniczka Bydgoszcz, will lose to Trefl Gdańsk.
Speaking of Trefl, they prevailed in a tie-breaker against the defending champions ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, away, in the match that changed nothing in terms of the rankings. Zaksa secured top-seed earlier while Trefl secured No.3 for the playoffs in the previous round. Zaksa coach Andrea Gardini used this match to give nearly all starters a rest.
