The playoffs of the 2019/20 Superliga Parimatch set off with a quarterfinal duel between the fifth seed Proton and fourth seed Dinamo Moscow. The latter, who are the reigning champions, prevailed by a 3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 25-20, 25-17) and came halfway to progressing to the semifinals.
Nataliya Goncharova stood out for the winning side with 36 points out of, as many as, 68 attacks! Moldovan Aliona Martiniuc scored 15 points for Proton. Game 2 is scheduled for March 8.
