The ex-Russia National Team member Kimerov has signed with the second division club in his home country – Magnitka. This came as a surprise given that a 24-year-old opposite hitter was to miss the rest of the season after having severe health problems due to Covid-19 infection.
Recall that the player was initially supposed to play for Fakel this season but his contract was terminated because of scandalous behavior in the road accident. In September, Kimerov moved to Italy’s NBV Verona but only played six games before getting the coronavirus. Two months after that, the SuperLega side announced that the season was over for Russian and he was returning home for treatment. However, Kimerov is already training with Magnitka from Magnitogorsk, a third-placed team in the second division (Vysshaya Liga “A”).
