Zenit Kazan, the reigning titleholders of the CEV Champions League, FIVB Club World Championship, Russian league, cup, and Super cup, announced they ended collaboration with an experienced middle blocker Aleksandr Gutsalyuk.

A 30-year-old player has spent the last 5 seasons in Zenit during which he helped the club win Champions League five times. Given the title which he won in the same tournament with Lokomotiv Novosibirsk before arriving in Zenit, Gutsalyuk is the most titled player of the strongest European cup.

In total, he played 212 games in Kazan team – 106 in the Russian championships, 49 in the Champions League, 39 in the Russian cup, 15 at the Club World Championships and 3 in the country’s Super cup.
