The fifth seed Fenerbahçe beat No.2 seed Arkas Spor for the second straight time in the 2018-2019 Efeler Ligi playoff finals to come to a victory from winning the title.
Just like in Game 1, the hosts Fenerbahçe prevailed in five sets, beating the odds for the umpteenth time in the playoffs this season: 22-25, 25-21, 25-23, 23-25, 15-13.
The Cuban outside hitter Salvador Hidalgo Oliva finished the match with 32 points (three aces) for Fenerbahçe. Adis Lagumdžija noted 28 points for Arkas while Mert Matić made four kill blocks.
The third and maybe a decisive game of the finals will be played on April 28 with the series being moved to Arkas home ground in İzmir.
