Imoco Volley Conegliano sealed their superiority over Saugella Team Monza this season in the 2018/19 Italian Women’s Volleyball Championship with a win in Game 3 of the playoff semifinals.

The top seed Imoco won Game 3 of the 2018/19 Samsung Volley Cup A1 playoff semifinals against No.4 seed Monza to launch themselves to the finals in which they will have the chance to defend the title. It will be Imoco’s fourth championship final in the club history.

Unlike the first two games, Monza managed to take one set from Imoco today, the opening one (only the third set that Monza won in seven mutual encounters this season), but succumbed in the rest of the match: 22-25, 25-20, 25-19 and 25-14.

The Dutch middle blocker Robin de Kruijf from Imoco scored game-high 20 points (six kill blocks) while libero Monica De Gennaro made 73% positive reception (22 total, two errors, 73% perfect). Serena Ortolani scored 16 points (five kill blocks) for Monza.
