The breaking news in all Turkish sports media is the mass coronavirus infection in the country’s women’s volleyball top division side Nilüfer.
Prior to the preparations for the new season, the Bursa based team has performed health checks and routine tests on all athletes and staff. The COVID-19 tests were also done. However, after one of the players felt bad and the new test showed she was positive, all team members underwent the coronavirus retesting. They were positive at more than 10 persons! The entire team was put in quarantine in the club’s facility.
Many of Nilüfer’s rivals in the national league, such as Eczacıbaşı VitrA and Fenerbahçe Opet, showed empathy for such a difficult situation and expressed get well wishes to all infected players and staff members.

Amateur team manager of Nilufer Team. He brought USA origin player to trainings without COVID testing and without quarantine. That idiot responsible of all those troubles ! Parents of players has to sue him and club !
