“There was no reason not to extend the contract. I said that at the end of the season I will to talk to BURSA first, and their offer could not be refused. It is true that we have not managed to get the semifinal of the playoffs, but we have achieved the greatest success in the history of the club. We’ll play next season in CEV Cup, which for me personally is another challenge,” said Croatian player.
Must be said that Mia Jerkov had plenty of offers, one came from Japan, from Toray Arrows, then SOLLYS/NESTLÉ from Brazil, BEŞİKTAŞ and IllBank ANKARA from Turkey, as well as two teams from Russia.
“The extension of contract with BURSA is a great job, now I can rest without thinking where I will continue my career. I think we did a great job this year, I can not wait for next season” concluded Mia Jerkov.
