After easily gaining the 2:1 lead, Vakifbank got seriously threatened by hosts, led by Sena Usic and Neslihan Darnel. The fourth set was the setplace for a great volleyball battle, with a few matchpoints left unrealised. After evening the score to 2:2, Eczacibasi got another chance in the tie break.
Host kept the good pace in the 5th set, making the lead 3:1, then extending it to 5:3. Vakifbank managed to even the score – 9:9. Later on , the score remained tight, and eventually Vakifbank managed to prevail and claim the game (16:14).
The third final match is scheduled for Monday, April 22.
