Nikola Meljanac, who’s paving his way toward men’s volleyball’s top level under the nickname “Tarzan“, is the new player for Turkey’s Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta.
After a brief stint in South Korea, Serbian opposite hitter Meljanac returned to Europe. The 23-year-old player left Crvena Zvezda Belgrade for Uijeongbu KB Insurance Stars in the offseason, but his engagement with the V-League club didn’t last long, even though he had several scoring explosions there. However, Meljanac found a new employer until the end of the season: he signed for Turkey’s Fenerbahçe.
Last season, he was the best scorer in the Serbian Championship. Meljanac made his debut for the Serbia National Team last summer in the FIVB Volleyball Nations League.
