The AXA Sigorta Efeler League’s 19th round commenced with a game featuring Halkbank versus Tokat Bld. Plevne.
Halkbank won the match 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-17).
Thomas Jaeshke was the Halkbank top scorer with 10 points (44% attack, 60% reception, 3 aces). Yavuz Berkay of Tokat Belediye Plevne with 14 points (64% attack) was the match top scorer.
Due to the catastrophic earthquake in Turkey, Halkbank appeared at the match oppening with a “Get well soon, my Turkey” banner. A minute of silence was also observed before the start of the match to pay tribute to all those who lost their lives in the disaster.
