Galatasaray HDI Sigorta and Ziraat Bankkart advanced to the SMS Grup Efeler Ligi final after both sides completed 2-0 semifinal series victories in the play-off 1-4 stage.
Galatasaray swept past Halkbank in straight sets at TVF Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Hall, winning 25-17, 25-18, 25-22 to confirm its place in the title series.
Jean Patry starred for the home side with 17 points, while Stephen Maar contributed 13. Having also won the opening match 3-0, Galatasaray secured a place in next season’s CEV Champions League.
Ziraat Bankkart joined them in the final after another dominant straight-sets win over Spor Toto. The Ankara club sealed victory with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-22 to wrap up the series without dropping a match.
The two winners will now meet for the Efeler Ligi championship, while Halkbank and Spor Toto will contest the third-place playoff.
