Saeid Marouf, the most famous Iranian player ended his first experience in Europe, but it seems he will stay on this continent in the next season as well.

According to sportowefakty.pl, the Turkish Halkbank would like to see Marouf in its squad for 2015/2016 season.

The Iranian setter recently won the gold medal in the Champions League with Russian Zenit Kazan. However, the European champions decided not to extend his contract.

Over the past season, Halkbank was not satisfied with its setter, the Finnish Mikko Esko, who failed to meet the expectations of a team and even lost his place in the line-up to Ulaş Kıyak.

Marouf is so big for Halkbank. but with sokolov, kubiak and mozdzonek and one other outsite hitter in juantorena’s level they can claim CEV club championship.

ali you are really crazy with saying marouf is too big for halkbank. honestly he played not good in zenit especially in champions league and young russian kobzar played much better. when you look at some player look firstly at his achievements later give a mark. you making noise after only one good season in national team even without any title you and some people want to make him as a hero. im asking where is this hero? he should finally come back to iran and you will shut up

I can say now that the IRANIAN FANS are far more crazy than POLAND and BRAZIL, oh my god, youre team is not even WON one single WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, OLYMPICS, WORLD CUP, WORLD LEAGUE and many more. MArouf is great but he CHOKE in ZENIT, thats why they chose MATT ANDERSON to extend the contract because ZENIT knew that KOBZAR is more reliable than Marouf(my opinion). And by the way, CHRISTENSON was the one who offered first the setting liability for Zenit but but Christenson did not accept the offer(because of USC). And saying that MAROUF is to big for HALKBANK is HUMONGOUS lie, what are you FANS of IRAN VOLLEYBALL.FIX your VOLLEYBALL PROBLEM in your country first!!!

In my opinion there’s a great future in front of Marouf, but his attitude is something that needs to be changed. He should accept maybe less attractive offer in Europe and he needs to start working harder. Maybe hiding his pride and becoming more humble would help.

FRANK FLORES- I think you don’t see volleyball:
1- zenit offer to Marouf when he was in Matin Varamin in 2013 but on that time he could not join zenit because of his club.
2- Marouf’s performance in CEV denizbank was good. he was fix in games against HalkBank Piacenza and in Final Four he had a good performance.
3- Marouf’s Volleyball Class is different with Russians. That’s why they could not reach coordination. Marouf is fast as Rezende and de cecco but russians are not.
4- Marouf Belangs to volleyball class of Ball,Grbic,Zygadlo and Vermigelio, Says Alekno. But i do think you know more than Alekno.
5- Iran is new in volleyball of the world in senior stage but iran is one of three teams in world in jounior and youth place. we can reach our first medal in few years ahead but this is irrelivent that a good player should had won many titles. Ibrahimovic is not a good footbalist because of your Reasoning.

X-
1- Kobzar play very good but he was not in russians roster even with 4 setters!!!. He just can set to Leon and always his setts has 2 or 3 blocks.
2- he has 4 offers from Poland, Two offers from Italy and One from Halkbank. You must shut up.
3- The champions of iran league can defeat Halkbank and other teams from Turkish league. Turkish league is nothing but money.
4- We have surprises for you and other rancors in current events, just wait.

Ali,
You know nothing about Turkish league , i guess otherwise you did not say Turkish league is nothing but money…
In the world, The best womens league is in Turkey…
In the world, ONE of the BEST MEN leagues in the world is in Turkey…
The world stars are stressing to play in Turkish league…
cAN YOU SHOW ME ANY VOLLEY LEAGUE in the world that they did not allow any foreigner players in their league ?….tell me one country ?…
This is everywhere…In Poland, italy, azarbaijan,Germany, Holland, Russia so what you are talking about ?
Turkish Volleyball fedaration steamed a system during last 15 years which stands only max 3 foreigners could play in national league, that’s why Turkish womens are very strong in the world but senior Men standings is not holding its place among top ten but Juniors are coming both ladies and men.
due to the regulations of CEV ; 3 of same country teams could not be in final four thus Fenerbahce Grundig played aginst Vakifbank and lost…. if this regulations are not on the stage ;believe me the first three Fenerbahce, Vakifbank and Eczacibasi would be in standings…

Ali- how did you find out about 4 offers from Poland? As far as I know 3 top volley teams (Skra, Resovia, Zaksa) already have their first setter and other clubs can’t afford Marouf, except for Lotos or JW. Moreover Saeid said that he won’t accept offers from Poland and Italy.

WILA-
This information has been said by supervisor of Iran national team who is in contact with him. I do know he reject all because he wants to play in CEV league and offers from Italy and Poland are not probably top. Halkbank is good choice. Otherwise he returns to Iran because for him there are offers about 500,000 $ in Iran.

Marouf is one of the great players so He could be mostly welcomed by Halkbank as It has been investing to men’s volleyball in Turkey like Vakıfbank..
in my point of view ; even you are the world star player, best in the volley in the world ; the team is important…setter, spiker, receiver etc.. you can built up your team with the most amazing players in the world but this does not mean that e’yhing will be ok. and you’re gonna be champion….Coordination, soul mating among the players, the city where you live etc are too much important to handle all….
For instance ; Rabıta Baku ?…They are the team who have one of the very warmed playerrs in the world but they did not succeded to reach quarter finals, and failed…This mean that even you have best of the world If the coordinaton fails everything fails…..Halkbank is one of the strongest teams of Europe so Maoruf could can go with Halkbank …. and he most probably would be happy in Turkey……

Guys! please! what is this language you are talking to each other?!!
marouf is a very good player, no doubt. but it doesn’t mean that we have right to humiliate other players or other teams.

to our friends that insult marouf and iranians: just because iranian volleyball team hasn’t win a title in world level yet, doesn’t mean that you can say they are worthless ! they have just showed up in world level. which team standed on 4th place of world league by just 2 times appearance in world league?
which team came to 6th place of world cup so fast? all teams you consider like USA, Brazil, Poland, Russia,.., they have been in world stage for many years. they have much more experience that Iran. by considering this, Iran has done very good job recently. iranian players are good, specially marouf.

marouf couldn’t be so successful in russia because of his different style of playing not because he is a bad player!

you say: fix our volleyball problems in our country?!!! it’s really irrelevant and unfair word to say!!!

please all of you- iranian or not iranian- consider all factors when you tend to judge others.

Turkish league is among 5 top leagues in the world,HalkBank is also a very powerful team, it would be an honor even for mMarouf to join Halkbank also for halkbank to get so many fans 🙂 , since Juantorena has left, they need a top player in his position, also a better middle blocker i want to see Seyed in Halkbank with Marouf.but something is not clear who will be halkbank coach for next year? will Kubiak,Sokolov stays there? they had Kaziysky, Juantorena in previous seasons but they all left
