They did not fail in the Qualification match for the 2017 CEV European Championship between Turkey and Portugal, held in Yıldırım Beyazıt Spor Salonu gymnasium in Turgutlu/Manisa.
Packed stands, where people were even standing on the stairs, led their Men’s National Team to straight-set win in the first leg of the third and also final stage of Qualifications. Second leg is scheduled in Portugal, on October 9.
Besides winners of Turkey – Portugal clash, the winners of two other pairs will take place in EuroVolley next year.
