Vakifbank vs. Galatasaray
Defending champions Fenerbahçe, Eczacıbaşı VitrA and VakıfBank kept the perfect 4-0 record in the national championship as they all swept their rivals today.
In theory, VakıfBank supposed to have the most difficult task as they faced runners-up Galatasaray İstanbul. But, the game was the one-way street for the ladies coached by Giovanni Guidetti – 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-18).
Zhu Ting – Lonneke Slöetjes duo pushed ‘Vakif’ toward a win with 17 and 15 points, respectively, including 3 kill blocks apiece. The Bulgarian Dobriana Rabadzhieva collected 13 points for Galatasaray.
