Eczacibasi
Eczacibasi VitrA barely defeated the fourth-ranked team, Galatasaray in the new match of the domestic league. The guests took the leadership of 0-2 after the equal fight for each point and when everybody thought that they will win in straight sets, Eczacibasi made a turnover.
Orange Tigers finished the third set with the small difference 25-23 and the next one was routine. In the tie-break, Galatasaray led but in the end, Eczacibasi showed their strength and finished the match in their favor.
Tijana Bošković from the winning team and Tatiana Kosheleva from Galatasaray were the top scorers with 27 points each. Jordan Larson-Burbach scored 17 points and Neslihan Demir Guler 19 points.
During the match, winners scored 17 blocks while Galatasaray only 8, the host have served 11 aces while opponents 8.
