The men’s Match of the Week in the Play-Off 6 Leg 2 comes from Turkey as Arkas IZMIR hosts Zaksa KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE on Tuesday at 18:00 CET. The Turkish team lost 3-2 in Poland last week and everything is set for a dramatic finale to this one. The home side has to be the favourites in front of their own fans but the Polish side led by Pawel Zagumny are no push-overs. CEV Match of the Week women: Eczacibasi ISTANBUL – Vakifbank ISTANBUL | 14.02.2013 16:00 CET
Turkey is the location for the women’s Match of the Week as well and what a match it looks set to be! Eczacibasi ISTANBUL welcomes Vakifbank ISTANBUL to the “Burhan Felek” Volleyball Hall for this 2nd leg and they find themselves in a difficult position after the 3-1 first leg defeat. Matches between these two are always exciting and there will be no love lost out on the court. We know for certain that a Turkish team will be in the final four, but which one will it be? Tune in on Thursday at 16:00 CET to catch the match in full!
Other highlights from this week’s matches include the all-Russian match between the two best Russian volleyball teams in recent history Zenit KAZAN and Dinamo MOSCOW. Zenit dominated the 1st leg winning 3-0 and it is going to take a superhuman performance from Dinamo MOSCOW against the best team in Europe if they want to progress to the next round. It is a similar situation in the Italian derby with MACERATA in a good position after their 3-0 win last week.
