The 23-year-old Brazil Women member Drussyla confessed in an interview for Globo Esporte that she was cured of the coronavirus whose pandemic hit the entire globe. The Sesc-RJ outside hitter tested positive for the disease in March. A few days ago, Drussyla learned that she no longer had the COVID-19 and now tries to get back to the routine by doing light exercises at home. The player revealed the flow of the coronavirus infection from her own experience.

”In the first week, I felt a lot of tiredness and headache, in addition to fever, shortness of breath and diarrhea. This went on for about a week. In the second week, I didn’t feel so tired, but the headache came sometimes. Shortness of breath came sometimes, too. I really needed to rest a lot. My parents took the food to me, as I wasn’t able to leave the house. They left it at the door, I took it and that was the only contact I had with my family,” a one-time FIVB Volleyball Nations League and a two-time South American Championship winner said.

Drussyla added that after 14 days, she got a recommendation from a doctor to get back to doing things normally in case she felt capable of that.
