A 22-year-old Kyle Ensing strengthened BR Volleys for the 2019/20 season. The U.S. national team player, currently engaged in the FIVB Nations League, came to the team from the German capital after winning two straight NCAA Championship titles with Long Beach State 49ers.

Individually, Ensing was named NCAA Final Four All-Tournament Team, First Team All-American and Big West Player of the Year during four years of his college career. Ensing will join three other compatriots in BR Volleys in the 2019/20 roster: Jeffrey Jendryk, Benjamin Patch and Cody Kessel (came from SVG Lüneburg earlier).

At the beginning of the summer transfer window, BR Volleys engaged libero Julian Zenger from United Volleys Frankfurt.
