Jiri-Kovar
The Czech-born Kovář, the former Italy national team member, has signed a one-year deal that will bind him to Lube for the ninth straight season.
A 30-year-old outside hitter will have the opportunity to further enrich his title collection with Lube that, for now, consists of 4 Italian Championships, 1 CEV Champions League, 1 Italian Cup, and 2 Italian Super Cups.
A year ago, Kovář was tested positive for doping and got a four-month ban from the Italian League that ended in January 2019.
