France national team outside hitter Kévin Tillie returned to the Plus Liga after two seasons which he spent in Beijing, China, his manager revealed. A one-time CEV EuroVolley and FIVB World League (both in 2015) winner signed with the Polish Championship runners-up ONICO Warszawa.

Playing in Poland remained in a good memory to Tillie as he won the national title with ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle twice (2016 and 2017) as well as the Polish Cup once (2017).

Tillie had a quite interesting volleyball path as he was developing his career by competing in the NCAA, which is rare for the non-American players. He was very successful in his college career, winning the NCAA Championship two times with the UC Irvine Anteaters (2012 and 2013) and being named All-American First Team on both occasions as well as the All-MPSF First Team (Mountain Pacific Sports Federation conference first team).  Later on, Tillie claimed the Turkish title with Arkas Spor.

A few days ago, ONICO signed two players from Trefl Gdańsk – a young middle blocker Patryk Niemiec and experienced setter Michał Kozłowski.
