Only one team possesses a perfect record in the 2022-23 Turkish Men’s Volleyball Championship following the initial match or the fifth round.
In a duel of the only two sides with perfect records in the 2022-23 AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi after four rounds, the vice-champions, Halkbank, swept the fourth-placed team last season, Arkas Spor. The Ankara powerhouse dominated the big match valid for Round 5 and now remained the sole undefeated team in the competition and will set off the next round as the leader even though the majority of fifth-round encounters are yet to take place this weekend.
The Dutch star, Nimir Abdel-Aziz, was Halkbank’s most prolific player with 17 points, including 4 aces. Doğukan Ulu made 4 blocks. Volkan Döne had 70% reception (10 digs, 30 perfect). As for the losing side, Efe Mandıracı scored 11 points.
