In the sixth weekend of Japan’s Daido Life SV.League 2024-2025, JTEKT Stings delivered a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Osaka Bluteon in a gripping rematch. Torey DeFalco starred with 35 points, narrowly outscoring Miguel Lopez, who tallied 32 in the high-stakes showdown.

JTEKT Stings bounced back from a 0-3 loss to Osaka the previous day, tightening their grip on the top standings alongside Osaka Bluteon, both with 10-2 records but separated by five points.

In other matches, defending champions Suntory Sunbirds swept Hiroshima Thunders twice, led by Dmitriy Muserskiy’s stellar performances, improving to third place. Wolfdogs Nagoya continued their dominance with back-to-back sweeps over Toray Arrows, thanks to Nimir Abdel-Aziz’s fiery scoring.

Tokyo Great Bears climbed to fifth with two wins over Nagano Tridents, as Alexandre Ferreira and Maciej Muzaj led the charge.
