Halkbank Ankara secured the Turkish Cup title with a remarkable display in the final against Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta. They had earned their spot in the final by defeating Arkas Izmir in the semifinals. The final match on April 18 was marked by outstanding performances from Halkbank players, Thomas Jaeschke and Nimir Abdel Aziz, who scored 20 and 17 points, respectively. On the other hand, Kaan Gurbuz scored 10 points for Fenerbahçe. All in all, it was a well-deserved win for Halkbank.
The playoffs for the Turkish AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi will carry on over the weekend, with matches scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
