In a historic feat, England’s Joaquin and Javier Bello clinched their first-ever Beach Pro Tour gold in Rio de Janeiro’s Elite16, overcoming intense competition. The 14th-seeded twins made an incredible journey from qualifiers, securing their top spot with a 7-1 record, marking a milestone after previous bronze finishes.

Argentina’s Capogrosso brothers, Nicolas and Tomas, took silver, falling just short in a nail-biting three-set final against the Bellos. This was their first Elite16 podium, showcasing their steady rise on the Tour.

Latvia’s Martins Plavins and Kristians Fokerots completed the podium, defeating Tokyo Olympic champions Anders Mol and Christian Sorum to claim bronze.
