Galatasaray HDI Sigorta has made two significant additions to their roster ahead of the upcoming season. The Turkish team has officially announced the acquisition of two players.
The first reinforcement for Galatasaray HDI Sigorta is Jan Zimmermann, a skilled setter from Germany. Zimmermann brings with him an impressive track record, having won three German League championships and two Belgian League championships throughout his career. Last season he played for the Italian team, Vero Volley Monza. Notably, Zimmermann has also represented the German national team, gaining valuable international experience.
The second signing for Galatasaray HDI Sigorta is Miran Kujundžić, an outside hitter from Serbia. Kujundžić recently competed for the Polish team, MKS Ślepsk Malow Suwalki, in the previous season. His career highlights include three league championships and a Super Cup victory with Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad. Kujundžić has also had successful stints with Spartak Subotica, Tourcoing Lille Métropole, and Paris Volley. In addition, he has represented the Serbian national team and achieved individual recognition as the top scorer in the Balkan Championship in 2016.
