During the opening match of the penultimate day in Skopje, the Netherlands marked a decisive victory against Macedonia, sweeping the match 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-16). The game was particularly memorable for the Dutch’s Nimir Abdel-Aziz, who contributed an impressive 15 points. However, Macedonia was without their star player, Nikola Gjorgiev, sidelined due to a back injury. In his absence, Aleksandar Ljaftov stepped up and led the Macedonians with 14 points.
The subsequent game saw Poland facing Denmark and concluding the match with a 3-0 (25-23, 25-9, 25-20) win. Bartosz Kurek was a pivotal player for Poland, earning 12 points, while Jakub Kochanowski added 11 to the tally. Mads Jensen was the most effective for Denmark with 12 points.
