Taubate
With the win in Round 7, the champions Taubaté continued to lead in the charts of the 2019/20 Superliga Masculina regular season with 7-0 and 21 points. In addition to being undefeated, the team coached by Renan Dal Zotto also hasn’t lost a single set in the competition! Vôlei Renata (a.k.a. Campinas) remained in fifth place with 4-3 and 10 points but also remained without one more scalp of some of the title favorites. Recall that they beat Sesc RJ, Sada Cruzeiro, and Sesi-SP prior to this match.
Ricardo Lucarelli was almost perfect for Taubaté with 14 points through an 85% attack (11/13). The libero Thales Hoss made 80% reception (10 digs, 40% excellent). Renan Buiatti scored 10 points for the losing side.
