A 22-year-old Plotnytskyi, one of Europe’s and most talented outside hitters at the moment, left Vero Volley Monza after two seasons and joined Perugia.
Plotnytskyi’s talent exploded very soon as he has won two championships and a Cup in his home country with Lokomotiv Kharkiv, of which two of these titles came while he was still a teenager. His talent blossomed in the 2016 CEV U20 European Championship when helped Ukraine reach the final, taking MVP and Best Spiker awards.
Perugia also informed their fans of renewing a deal with the backup libero Alessandro Piccinelli.
